Pennsylvania school district using app to combat bullying

A school district in Pennsylvania is using technology to combat bullying.
It's called the Safe2SpeakUp App.
All students in Pottsville are given IPads, where they can report any instances of bullying, even if they're not the ones involved.
Students can also opt to be anonymous.
Teachers are then immediately notified through a simple notification.
"They don't have to feel intimidated by coming here and feeling like someone will see them coming here,” says high school teacher Tiffany Hummel. “It's very efficient because it comes to us right away. We actually get an alert and it just shows up like a notification would for social media or emails."
The app also keeps track of each report to note any repeat offenders or any trends in bullying.
