A man is facing charges after police say he followed a woman in Oceanside and then made lewd gestures and exposed himself.
It happened Saturday afternoon. The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Brian McBride, of Lindenhurst.
Nassau police say a 23-year-old woman was leaving a parking lot on Long Beach Road in Oceanside when she noticed the suspect pointing at her. The woman drove to a different parking lot, and police say McBride followed her.
That's when the man approached the woman's driver's side door as she sat in her vehicle. Police say McBride made "lewd gestures" and exposed himself to the woman, who called 911.
McBride was arrested. He is charged with public lewdness and fourth-degree stalking.
