WATCH: News 12’s Brian Donohue tries collegiate log rolling

There’s a new sport at Rutgers University this year – log-rolling.
It's the brainchild of Jesse Stratowski, who heads the university's outdoor recreation program.
“It's a great thing for students who are just walking through and want to try something out briefly,” Stratowski says. “It's also a pretty cool thing for team building. So we've had some of the other sports teams come and do it as a group activity.”
Using a hard, plastic log, the team members attempt to keep their balance while rolling the log in a pool.
It’s a brand-new sport at the school that’s not even an official club yet.
The team’s first competition will be at Rutgers Saturday.
