Campbell's Field to be torn down after more than a decade

Posted: Updated:
CAMDEN -

Campbell's Field in Camden is expected to be torn down after 17 years.

The waterfront ballpark was built as a way to try and boost tourism for the city.

The 6,700-seat park cost $35 million to build, but the Camden Riversharks lost their lease back in 2015.

The county is now looking for bids on the demolition.
