The threat of a mass shooting at a Passaic County mall was deemed “not credible” by the authorities.

A photo was spread around social media that said “Stay clear of the Willowbrook Mall” and made reference to a possible mass shooting threat at the mall’s food court Sunday.

But the Wayne Police Department says that the treat was not credible.

A spokesperson for the Willowbrook mall says that “extra precautions” were taken in order to ensure safety.

The mall was opened Monday without incident.
