Vigil held for motorcyclist killed in crash in Brownsville

A vigil was held Sunday for a man who died after being thrown from his motorcycle on Saturday afternoon in Brownsville.
Police tell News 12 the Suzuki, driven by 47-year-old Julius Jabo Holloway was traveling northbound on Mother Gaston Boulevard and Belmont Avenue when it hit a car making a U-turn on the boulevard.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he later died.
Police say five people were in the car at the time.
They were also treated for injuries at a nearby hospital.
People who came to the vigil Sunday evening lit candles to honor Holloway.
Balloons were also sent into the sky during the vigil, and his friends rode motorcycles on the street to pay tribute to Holloway.
