Manhunt underway for suspect in Jersey City teen slaying

A manhunt is underway in New Jersey for the person or people responsible for the shooting death of a Jersey City teen.
Jayden Fondeur, 17, was struck and killed by two bullets while standing in front of a convenience store on Bergen Road Tuesday evening.
According to Jersey City school officials, Fondeur was a well-liked sophomore at Ferris High School. A spokesperson for the district says that the teen’s “tragic and senseless death has shaken his school and our entire community.”
Jersey City Police Chief Michael Kelly vowed to bring the killers to justice.
“To the killers of Jayden Fondeur. We are pursuing your capture with all our resources! The [Jersey City Police Department] will continue to drive violent crime down and relentlessly hunt those that use firearms in Jersey City to harm our neighbors!” Kelly wrote on Twitter.
So far no arrests have been made.
