Camden County has confirmed its first human case of the West Nile virus this year.
The Camden County Department of Health and Human Services was notified of a 68-year-old woman that tested positive.
Last week, a ninth person tested positive for the virus in Cape May County.
Bergen and Hunterdon counties also both had two confirmed cases, while Ocean and Somerset counties had one confirmed case each.
According to experts, the rain continues to help mosquito populations multiply.
The state Department of Health is reminding people to clear all standing water from their property, especially if rains ramp up this week.
