1. The moose really was on the loose.
It could only happen out west. Colorado. Just cruising through front yards, jumping fences. Eating. Wildife officials tranquilized the beast and moved it somewhere more appropriate.

2. There's an angry guy in Virginia who tells the kids, get off my lawn, and he means it.
He's so adamant about the kids staying off his lawn, he just put an electric fence around his property. Come too close, get a little zap. Kids are often near his property because there's a school bus stop nearby. Neighbors aren't happy because their kids might get zapped. So much public outrage, the guy tonight removed the fence.  

3. Bacon made him do it.
Elvis the dog was alone in a pickup when he smelled bacon grease on the dash. Dogs like bacon grease. In going to get a taste, the dog knocked the truck into gear. It moved ahead and crashed into a car. After all, dogs concentrating on bacon grease can't concentrate on driving. Elvis is fine.
