The superintendent of the Brick School District says he's feeling better after initial testing results for mold have shown improvement.
Gerard Dalton says initial test results for Emma Havens Young Elementary School look very good, but he didn't want to get specific as they hope to have the final test results concerning mold released this afternoon.
“Based on the work with our environmental corporation, I’ve learned a lot about this someone who suffers from asthma myself, when I learned that the levels of these common mold spores after we treated the buildings are actually lower than where I’m standing right now outside,” says Dalton. “That made me feel at ease.”
Testing also continues at Lake Riviera Middle School today.
Those results should be available sometime Wednesday.
Mold was discovered in both schools recently.
