Mold has been found in two schools in New Jersey, according to officials.
School officials in Stafford Township say mold cleanup will be done in time for the school year.
The mold was found in a few small areas at McKinley Avenue Elementary School.
According to the district, it has been assured by the company that is doing the cleaning that work will be done by Aug. 31.
The building will then be tested to make sure it is safe for the start of school.
In Warren County, White Township School says mold has been found in three classrooms and closets.
A letter from the school administrator says it’s working with a company to have the rooms professionally cleaned.
The rooms will be sealed to keep students and faculty safe while the cleaning takes place.
