Police: Woman driving drunk crashes into fish hatchery pond

Authorities say a Washington Township woman was driving drunk when her car ended up in a state fish hatchery pond.
According to Hackettstown police, the crash happened Monday around 2 a.m.
Officers responding to reports of a suspicious vehicle found the car submerged in the pond.
Police say Michelle Clarke, 42, was sitting on the car's trunk, trying to flag down help.
The officers helped Clarke get off the vehicle safely and apparently she was not injured.
They say that to reach the pond, she had to drive down a dirt road not meant for vehicles.
Clarke was charged with drunken driving.
It wasn't known if she's retained an attorney.
