Adult film actress Stormy Daniels’ scheduled appearance at the Lace Gentlemen’s Club in Wayne has been canceled due to “security concerns.”
The manager of the club told News 12 New Jersey that Daniels’ attorney called off the appearance due to security reasons. The manager said that the attorney would not provide details about those concerns.
Daniels was set to perform two shows at the Wayne strip club Thursday night. The announcement did not sit well with many New Jersey residents who told News 12 at the time that they did not want someone like Daniels to visit the state.
Daniels claimed to have had an affair with President Donald Trump in 2006. She is now suing the president over a non-disclosure agreement she signed. She says that she was paid $130,000 to keep quiet. A legal advisor has since confirmed the president knew about the payment and reimbursed his lawyer.
Lace management says that the club spent about $20,000 to bring Daniels in, including paying for her flight to New Jersey.
Fans who bought tickets will be able to get a full refund.
