GWB upper level reopens following emergency repairs

Two lanes on the upper level of the George Washington Bridge have reopened following emergency repairs.

Two eastbound lanes on the upper level were closed Tuesday afternoon. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says that crews were repairing loose bolts.

The lanes reopened just before 5 p.m.
