Teens paint Bound Brook crosswalks for pedestrian safety awareness

Posted: Updated:
BOUND BROOK -

A group of Bound Brook teens is raising awareness about pedestrian safety while also making the town a bit more colorful.

The teens are working with a program to paint designs to accentuate crosswalks all over town. They are working with the Somerset County 4H Club and the nonprofit Middle Earth.

The program allows the teens to learn about the issues affecting their town and to get involved in the town’s decisions.

The project aims to help highlight the need to watch for pedestrians in crosswalks.
