Boy critically injured after near-drowning at NJ water park

EAST BRUNSWICK -

A boy is in critical condition after he nearly drowned at a Middlesex County water park.

East Brunswick police were called to Crystal Springs Family Waterpark Monday afternoon for reports of a child who was not breathing.

Water park personnel and EMS workers performed CPR on the child. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center.

Officials did not release details on exactly what happened that led to the child not breathing.
