MANASQUAN -

Police in Manasquan say a hourslong standoff has ended.

The incident happened Sunday night on First Avenue.

Earlier in the evening, officers, in what appeared to be SWAT gear, headed down Main Street.

According to neighbors, they heard police were responding to a call about a barricaded person.

Details were not immediately released, but police closed off the area and prevented residents from returning for hours.

Throughout the evening, a drone with green and red lights hovered over a house.
