Suspect arrested in stabbing death of 15-year-old

Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in Brooklyn.
The victim has been identified as Parlay Oller. He was among three people were stabbed early Saturday morning. The other two survived and are in stable condition, but Oller was stabbed in the abdomen and was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
A memorial for Oller has been growing in the lobby of his childhood home at 1570 E. New York Ave.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that a dispute broke out between multiple males at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard before the stabbing.
Police say they have arrested 25-year-old Jason Smith in connection with the case. He has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation is still ongoing.
