82-year-old killed in Toms River crash

TOMS RIVER -

A deadly crash on Saturday is under investigation in Toms River.

Police responded to New Hampshire Avenue just before 3 p.m.

They say a car had crossed the center line and struck another car.

The other driver, 82-year-old Jean Divona, was trapped in her car, and later died at the hospital.

Police say the driver who crossed the center line did not appear impaired and consented to a blood test.

The driver's name has not been released.
