Students graduate from Ethics for Children program

The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture is celebrating the accomplishments of students who graduated from an ethics program Sunday.
The Ethics for Children program teaches students life skills like empathy, respect and a deeper understanding of the self and others.
Students showed their favorite lessons through video presentations, including one project involving kids ages 3 to 6 who went around Brooklyn to get opinions on guns.
The program is held on Sundays and is meant to offer a non-religious alternative to Sunday school.
These classes are part of the American Ethical Union, a national organization committed to ethics and social justice.
