Kayakers find missing man's body off New Jersey

Two men kayaking in waters off the New Jersey coast have found the body of a missing man from Pennsylvania.

According to Lower Township police, the pair found Christopher Heise Sr., 71, in the Delaware Bay Sunday around 3:45 p.m.

They brought the body to shore and notified authorities.

Authorities say Heise had been reported missing, adding his family members had found some of his belongings on the beach.

But they haven't disclosed further details about him or his disappearance.

It wasn't known how long Heise's body was in the water before it was found.

A cause of death has not been determined.
