Man pays for 1,500 Newark residents to go to Six Flags

A man has given back in a big way to more than 1,000 people in Newark Saturday morning.
Local transportation entrepreneur Kenneth Jones helped organize a trip to Six Flags for the people of Newark.
Jones organized 29 buses outside Sacred Heart Church in Newark to take over 1,500 people on a first come, first serve basis to the theme park.
Organizers say about 2,000 people showed up and they tried to fit as many as they could into buses. Dozens ended up having to be turned away.
The event was expected to be an all-day affair with buses bringing the group back around 7 p.m.
This is the fifth year Jones and Jones Trucking has organized an event like this.
