2-alarm fire breaks out in Sunset Park building

A two-alarm fire broke out at a three-story home in Sunset Park Saturday morning.
FDNY authorities tell News 12 the blaze erupted at 48-13 Sixth Avenue on the second floor around 3:45 a.m.
They say 106 firefighters responded to scene and extinguished the flames around 5 a.m.
Neighbors tell New 12 that the people who live in the apartment were not home at the time of the blaze.
Seven firefighters sustained minor injuries while putting the fire out.
All seven firefighters were transported to local hospitals. One is said to have sustained a serious injury but is expected to be OK.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
