EAST BRUNSWICK -

Police in East Brunswick are seeking the public’s help locating a man suspected of taking a donation box.

The incident happened on May 26 around 3 a.m. at a 7-Eleven convenience store.

According to police, the man entered the store on Main Street, near Old Stage Road.

Police say the suspect then removed a donation box chained to the counter and ran from the store, while the clerk was distracted.

The donation box contained around $300.

The suspect has a number of tattoos, including ones covering both of his hands and a cross on his right forearm.
