The Piscataway Memorial Day Parade procession made its way down West Seventh Street from the Arbor Firehouse on Monday.
Thousands turned out to march and cheer on the parade.
The parade ended with a hot dog lunch at the township's American Legion post.
Judy Smith, president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, says she helps organize the parade to honor the fallen and remember her father.
The parade has been running annually for at least four decades.
Piscataway also held a remembrance service at the Veterans Memorial at Possumtown Park.
