Bridgewater school hosts "Proud to be an American Day"

Six military helicopters flew over and then landed on the campus of the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School in Bridgewater for "Proud to be an American Day."
The event was created and organized by social studies teacher and army veteran Edward Graf.
The event, attended by students, staff, parents and local veterans, serves as a reminder of what Memorial Day is really all about.
In addition to the helicopters, the event included speeches, an honor guard, a rifle salute and tributes to the people who made the ultimate sacrifice.
One of the people honored today was Navy Seal Matthew Kantor, a New Jerseryan killed in action in Afghanistan.
Students raised over $11,000 to help pay for the event.
