A 55-year-old Freehold man has been accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that David Buabeng lured the teen into his car while at a convenience store Monday afternoon. Buabeng then allegedly drove the girl to an apartment where officials say he sexually assaulted her and took photographs of her. Police say the he then dropped the girl off near her home the next morning.

Officials say that Buabeng was arrested Tuesday evening at an apartment in Freehold where he works as a home health aide for an elderly person.

Buabeng faces kidnapping, child luring and sexual assault charges.
