Officials in Monmouth County want residents to start conserving water.

American Water's request comes in anticipation of possible drought issues this summer.

The utility wants everyone in Monmouth County to use an odd/even schedule, beginning now.

The last number in a resident’s address would determine if they are eligible to water on odd or even days.
