A man, known as the bicycle-riding bandit who is wanted for two bank robberies, has been arrested in Belmar.
The robberies happened at the TD Bank in Point Pleasant and Ocean First Bank in Spring Lake.
A Neptune officer caught David Mitchell shortly after the heist in Spring Lake.
According to authorities, Mitchell rode a bike to the banks, held them up, and then pedaled away with cash before ditching his bike in nearby woods.
According to reports, Mitchell was arrested back in 2009 for robbing an Ocean First Branch in Brick.
Reports say Mitchell went to jail and was released in 2015.
A conviction could lead to decades in prison.
