A New Jersey eighth-grader is making New Jersey proud by speaking about her health condition.

Emily Merrill has Craniofacial Syndrome. She was born without a lower jaw and has a heart condition. She has also undergone 20 surgeries.

Merrill has been going to different schools around New Jersey telling other students about her condition and helping them understand it. She is inspiring the children to overcome whatever difficulties they are having, just as she is.
