Person in custody after making threat to Jersey City high school

JERSEY CITY -

One person is accused of posting an online threat stating they were going to shoot people at Lincoln High School in Jersey City.

The school was placed under a precautionary lockdown Thursday as police investigated the threat.

News 12 is told the person who police say made the threat was taken into custody.

No one was hurt.

The school will be open as normally scheduled today.
