Students returned to class today at Western Connecticut State University after an outbreak of norovirus.
The campus was closed yesterday after a norovirus outbreak made more than 100 students sick.
The virus can’t be spread through the air, only from touching a contaminated surface or sharing food with someone who is sick.
Western Connecticut State says that crews have disinfected all buildings so it is safe for students to return.
West Conn says most cases were concentrated on the Westside campus, which houses athletics and fine arts buildings.
