William Paterson University staff reacts to inappropriate post

A university is reacting to a student’s social media post this morning.

William Paterson University is responding to videos on social media, where a student reportedly used inappropriate language and racial slurs.

"We have learned of videos on social media including one in which a William Paterson student, who is also a leader in our sorority community, makes abhorrent and racially charged statements at a non-university gathering,” said the university, in a statement on Twitter,

Dr. Miki Cammarata, VP for student development says the university staff is investigating the matter to determine what actions are appropriate.
