Two homes in Middletown were destroyed by fire Sunday morning.

News 12 is told the flames broke out in a home that was under construction on Harmony Avenue.

The fire then spread to the home next door.

Both homes are said to be total losses.

There was no word on any possible injuries, and the cause of the fire is unclear.
