The Internal Revenue Service is providing an extra day for taxpayers to file and pay their taxes due to system issues.
The agency says that the new deadline is Wednesday, April 18, by 11:59 p.m.
The IRS reported that the agency’s electronic filing system was experiencing widespread failures Tuesday.
