Investigators say the body of an infant discovered inside a suitcase in Jersey City is a young girl who was about 10 months old.
According to investigators, the girl is either African-American or Hispanic.
A crew member aboard a PATH train spotted the suitcase Wednesday night below a pedestrian walkway near Van Wagenen Avenue.
Detectives have been screening surveillance video near the area where she was found.
