People seen jumping from balcony to escape large fire in Edgewater

Several people were see jumping from a second-floor balcony in order to escape a large fire in Bergen County.
Edgewater mayor Michael McPartland says that the fire started Monday evening inside a complex at 360 Old River Road. The complex houses a car wash, auto body shop, restaurant and dance studio.
Officials say that the fire started on the first floor of the complex, before quickly spreading to the second floor.
People inside the dance studio were forced to escape the flames from the second-floor balcony. Dramatic video posted on YouTube shows several people climbing down the balcony while others rushed to bring them ladders. Large, orange flames can be seen billowing out of the windows.
Fire officials say that about five people were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. Officials say that they believe everyone involved in the fire has been accounted for.
