Police: 9 were injured in crash that shut down I-80

Officials have released new details on a crash that shut down Interstate 80 for five hours in Warren County on Saturday.

The four-vehicle crash on the westbound side of the interstate happened just after noon in Knowlton.

All four vehicles involved left the roadway.

Nine people were injured, and three of those people suffered serious injuries.

State police are investigating the crash. The cause is unclear.
