NEW BRUNSWICK -

Some young athletes took part in the Special Olympics New Jersey Spring Games Sunday.

There were more than 200 bowlers who took part in the morning session of the Special Olympics bowling tournament in North Brunswick.

The success of the tournament was made possible by the 70 volunteers working at the event.

Some were there for school credit, but many had  family members and friends with special needs.
