Posted: Updated:
WAYNE -

Police have arrested two men who barged into a house in Wayne.

Nicholas Theobald, of Wayne, and Dwight Torres, of Saddle Brook, were both charged.

Officers responded to reports of a "burglary in progress" Thursday afternoon on Valley Road.

When police arrived, they noticed the rear door had a large hole kicked through it.

The resident was home at the time, and authorities say one of the men grabbed a chain off her neck before being caught by police.

The resident was not injured.
