Actor and filmmaker Anthony Bradford will screen his new film at the Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park.
Bradford is a New Jersey native. His film “Greenlit” is a dramedy about a producer trying to make it in Hollywood. It also serves as a television pilot.
"I'm primarily an actor but I realized early on I don't have to sit around and wait for someone to give me a job. Why not just create my own job that I'd want to do,” Bradford says.
Bradford’s first film, “Transition,” debuted at the festival eight years ago. The film was based on his brother Nick’s real-life battle with cancer as a teenage athlete.
Over 200 other films will be screened at seven locations in Asbury Park as part of the festival.
Ticket information for the festival can be found at its website.
