Vigil marks 1 year since Bronx EMT killed in line of duty

A vigil was held in the Soundview section of the Bronx Friday night to mark one year since EMT Yadira Arroyo was killed in the line of duty.
The 44-year-old EMT died after police say Jose Gonzalez, 25, stole Arroyo's ambulance and ran her over while he was high on drugs. He's charged with murder, manslaughter and robbery.
Vigil attendees paid their respects by gathering for prayer where Arroyo was killed.
Arroyo, affectionately called "Yadi" by family and friends, worked as an EMT for 14 years out of FDNY EMS Station 26 in the Bronx. Since her death, several tributes have been held across the city in her honor.
Arroyo left behind five children.
