Many West Orange residents spent Thursday morning digging out of the snow and clearing their driveways.
Wednesday’s snowstorm dropped over 2 feet of snow in parts of New Jersey. West Orange alone saw over 14 inches of snow Wednesday.
There were reports of trees and utility poles down, blocking several streets in the town.
Resident Anne Sergeant said that she called her boss and told him she would be late to work Thursday.
“I called my boss and told him…I have to shovel snow,” Sergeant said.
Many other residents told News 12 New Jersey that they spent many frustrating hours clearing snow from their driveways and walkways.
Wednesday’s snowstorm was the second storm to hit the state in less than a week.
