St. Patrick's Day parade held despite flooding concerns

The 45th annual Belmar Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade was held Sunday despite flooding concerns earlier in the day.
There were concerns along Route 35 near the borough's marina and some side streets due to high tide.
Belmar and other shore towns like nearby Manasquan saw worse conditions in the beginning of the weekend after Friday's powerful nor'easter.
Mayor Matthew Doherty says there was no significant flooding in the area.
