Residents deal with aftermath of powerful nor'easter
Winds and waves continue to batter the Jersey Shore where flooding remains a concern for at least another high tide cycle.
Friday’s nor’easter brought potential flooding and it is not over yet. Saturday night tides are expected to reach at least 2 feet higher than usual.
Saturday’s high winds toppled trees onto power lines and police have to close up the street causing significant tie-ups.
More than a 100,000 JCP&L customers also still waiting for power restoration.
