BELMAR -

Belmar officials were out Wednesday preparing for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade is scheduled for Sunday. It is New Jersey’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Mayor Matt Doherty says that the parade helps to boost the local economy. He says that the town can use the boost after slower winter months.

News 12 New Jersey has compiled a list of many of the St. Patrick’s Day events being held in the Garden State.
