With the number of flu cases hitting near record levels across the country, health officials say those assembling for Super Bowl parties should be aware of the risks.
The American Red Cross offered some tips to help people avoid getting sick during the big game.
They include not sharing drinks, keeping the bathroom stocked with soap and disposable towels, and to avoid double-dipping chips (that’s like putting your whole mouth right in the dip).
According to the Red Cross, people with the flu can spread it to people as far as 6 feet away when coughing, sneezing or talking.
