A traffic alert has been issued this weekend for those planning to use the George Washington Bridge and other area crossings.
Starting at the George Washington Bridge, the lower level is closed in both directions until 10 a.m. this morning.
There will also be lane closures on the upper level starting tonight at 10 through Sunday morning.
The Bayonne Bridge is currently closed for ongoing construction.
That will reopen at 3 a.m. Sunday.
Also starting Sunday, one lane eastbound and westbound will be closed at the Holland Tunnel overnight.
That will run through Thursday.
