A scholarship fund was created to honor the member of one of the New York City terror attack victims who was from New Jersey.
Darren Drake was one of eight people killed when a suspected terrorist drove a Home Depot truck into a group of people on a New York City bike path.
Recipients of the scholarship will be graduates of New Milford High School – the school that Drake graduated from before going on to work at Moody’s.
Drake also returned to his hometown to serve on the New Milford Board of Education for three years.
