An early morning fire in Middlesex County displaced over a dozen residents.
Officials say the fire broke out in Building 32 in the Woodedge Apartment complex in Edison around 6 a.m. Wednesday. Officials say that the fire started inside a crawlspace in the building and then spread.
Two of the units were badly damaged by smoke and fire, according to officials. Authorities say that the other eight units were partially damaged.
Edison officials and the American Red Cross will help the residents find temporary housing.
No injuries were reported, but one tenant was taken to the hospital after experiencing chest pains.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
